Denise Designed

Hi there! I'm thrilled to be a part of Denise Designed's Launch Party! Denise and I go way back and I was so happy when she asked me to be a part of this fun day! You can find me blogging at I like to write about anything and everything! I would love for you to stop by!

I am a Jewelry Designer/Home Designer/Creative Director/Mom/Wife/Daughter/Sister/Friend! I just got into designing jewelry a few years ago. I work for an Architectural Antiques store, Southern Accents, as their Creative Director and am lucky to see one-of-a-kind pieces all the time. One of my favorite things is to recreate an item. I've taken many a door and turned it into a chalkboard, cork board, picture frame, headboard, table, you get the picture! When I was shown a particular keyhole, I fell in love with the beauty in it. I just didn't know how I could recreate it into something I could use in my daily life. Then the idea of a necklace hit me. I found some chain and jump rings and my first necklace came to life. I wore it for several years and had more comments than I can count! Everyone kept telling me they wanted one and would pay for it! Haha.. I've always been creative, but not in a trying-to-sell-something sort of way. It's taken me a couple of years and some unique pieces to pull together a little business! I call my jewelry, Lucy Lockets. I've been making the necklaces for a little over a year and just introduced cuffs to my line. I have an Etsy shop that is never full! I do make custom pieces and would love to talk to you about creating something just for you!

I am so excited to tell you that I am giving away one of my one-of-a-kind cuffs today on Denise Designed's blog! I have a couple of shows coming up this Fall where you can find my Lucy Lockets. I will be at the Haven Blogger Conference on August 1-3 with my jewelry and Southern Accents. My next show is in Pike Road, Montgomery on October 19th, The Chapel Market. You may have heard of The Lettered Cottage. They invited us to participate and we jumped at the chance! If you are in the area, I would love for you to come by and see all of my pieces. Speaking of...I need to get in the workroom and make some!!

The Lucy Lockets Cuff I am giving away is valued at $50.00.

A couple of my favorite pieces in the shop right now. This one is a statement necklace! I love the stacked escutcheons. Each one tells it's own story. They are all taken from doors that were rescued from homes that were being salvaged. These date back to the early 1900's.

This piece was really fun to make. I wanted to use this spring part and create lots of smaller trinkets coming out of it. This one has lots of personality and hangs longer.
